During 2020 we will be updating our users with a weekly changelog in which our users are able to keep track of the progress we're making on swap.gg as a trading site as well as a marketplace on our road to becoming one of the best virtual item trading- and selling platforms out there.

Trade site:

  • Right click on item tiles now has a new layout including YouTube video showcases.
To enhance the user interface and usability of the trading site, we've made some changes to item tile layouts when right clicking on items in the inventories. Additionally, items that already have YouTube showcases on the marketplace will also feature these on the trade site.

  • Visual- and performance improvements
We've done some slight adjustments to back-end code and front-end visuals to further enhance the trade site usability.

  • German site translation
To allow our German users to more easily use our site(s), we have translated most of the trade site as well as the marketplace into German.

  • Started work on 'invest' functionality
This week we've started developing and implementing an 'invest' functionality allowing high-volume traders to buy up trade-locked items and sell them (back) for x% of profit once the trade-lock expires. In combination with our recently introduced pricing algorithm, this should make for an extremely broad range of items for our users to choose from. [COMING SOON]

Marketplace:

  • Sales queue reset
When depositing items and listing them for sale, the sales queue will now reset once our system detects the offer has been accepted.

  • Visual- and performance improvements
We've done some slight adjustments to back-end code and front-end visuals to further enhance the marketplace usability.

  • Push notifications
Users will now receive push notifications on all devices when they're not on the website. (Only enabled if you 'Allow' us to send push notifications through your browser settings)

  • Newly listed filter
When filtering for items on our 'browse' page, users will now be able to use the 'Newly listed' sort filter. This filter allows you to sort through item listings by date of listing. Note: 'Newly listed' also shows items that were recently relisted or lowered/highered in price.
